Luggage
Whether travelling light or not, you can always bring a hand luggage on board of Turkish Airlines. If unsure of the size and capacity, you may check with the Airlines if your bag matches their requirements. The size of your registered luggage will vary depending on class and destination. Booking classes
Turkish Airlines booking will present you with three different classes to choose from. In the economic class you'll have a handy socket at your seat for charging electronic devices and USB. Seat pitch is a standard 78 cm and you can nap leaning your chair back by 15 cm. The comfort class will place you in a seat that's 49 cm wide and can lean back by 22 cm. For your comfort, each seat has increased legs space. Booking business class with the Turkish Airlines means you'll be lounging in a chair with a massage option and a reading light. If you decide to snooze, recline in your chair-into-bed (188 cm long).
Online check-in
24 hours before your flight is the time to do your online check-in and select your seat. You may do so only until 90 minutes before the plane sets off. Always secure enough time to drop off your registered luggage because that option closes 60 minutes before the departure in case of international flights and 45 minutes in domestic flights.
Fleet
Among the Turkish Airlines there are 262 air- vehicles. The fleet consists of 88 Boeings 737-800, 43 Airbuses A321-200 and 33 Airbuses A320-200.
Istanbul Airport
Istanbul’s main airport is the Istanbul Airport, located 35 km northwest of the city centre, on its European side. The airport has been serving since April 2019, when it took over from Istanbul-Atatürk.
Istanbul Airport has only one terminal, built to handle around 90 million passengers annually. This makes it the biggest of this type of construction in the world located under one roof. The airport expansion plan is said to add additional terminals, allowing the airport to handle as many as 200 million passengers annually by 2030.
Refreshments
Regardless of the class booked, the offer will vary between routes. When flying in the economic class, you may try a hot or cold dish. Select your food from the European menu with the best elements of Turkish cuisine. Turkish Airlines won't have their passengers hungry so on long-distance flights you get sandwiches and cookies. All international flights treat their passengers with special dishes.
If you chose the comfort class you'll receive a welcome drink and a menu with fresh, heart-warming food, sweets, fruit and selection of cheese. You can order food once again before the landing.
The ravishing surprises await the passengers of the Turkish Airlines business class. Passengers travelling to long-distance destinations will be offered two dishes and refreshments. Get yourself spoilt by the wide offer of delicious starters and hot soups. And if you suddenly find yourself tired, a strong Turkish coffee along with a Turkish snack will put you back on your feet.
Additional services
Turkish Airlines have prepared additional entertainment services on some of their routes. You can watch films, listen to audiobooks and select programs for your kids. When you need to share something with the World that just can't wait until you land – do so during flight. The charge is $1.60 per message.

Traveling from Ireland to Nigeria connection networks was poor but coming back trough the new airport in Istanbul was fantastic I will do it again love it.
The flight staffs are 1008% very good but the airport staff are very poor and unprofessional most of them should have been working in the airport. This comment is about when you ask airport staff about directions the response is extremely very poor but I adore the airport hostess very professional I love them
