Luggage
In VietJet air hand luggage and checked baggage are the subject to weight and size restrictions. The exact dimensions should be verified before your preparation for the trip. Together with your hand luggage, you can take a handbag, jacket bag or the laptop bag. It is important not to exceed the given dimensions. One piece of checked baggage is included in the price of the ticket only in the SKyBoss class. In other classes, it is the most comfortable to order it online. Before the take-off take a look at the list of forbidden items, you will avoid problems at the airport. It would be safe to pack valuable and fragile goods to your hand luggage. Liquids should be held in containers not exceeding 100 ml.
Reservation classes
VietJet Air offers its clients three reservation classes: Promo, Eco, and SkyBoss. Promo class is the most basic one, here the changes of name, route or the flight date are impossible or require an additional fee. The most convenient is the SkyBoss class. Here the passengers can change the details. What is more, SkyBoss class ticket enables the passenger to take heavier hand baggage onboard and gives him a chance to take one piece of checked luggage free of change. What’s important, you cannot get a refund or cancel the reservation in any of the classes. Just in case remember, up to 3 hours before the flight you can upgrade the service to the higher class, of course, for an additional fee.
Online check-in
Online check-in rules in VietJet Air impose some restrictions on the passengers. You can check-in online only when you depart from Noi Bai, Da Nang or Tan Son Nhat domestic airports. In other case, you should check-in at the airport. Online check-in also depends of the passenger status. You may not be able to check-in online when you travel with infants when you are a passenger with special needs or in the situation when a booking has more than nine passengers. Online check-in begins 24 hours before the flight. During it, you should provide information about the passengers, choose the seats (if available) and get the boarding pass which should be printed and carry on the flight day.
Fleet
VietJet Air fleet is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly. The majority is made up of the latest Airbus planes, including Airbus A320 and Airbus A321. This family of aircraft is considered among carriers to be reliable, low-cost, fuel-efficient and ecological. The distinguishing feature of the VietJet Air fleet is the colourful motifs on the bodies of the aircraft. The appearance of each machine refers to national colours of Vietnam: red and yellow. What is more, on the hulls you can notice Disney characters, national Vietnamese tourism logo or the image of the former Mis Vietnam, who became the face of the airline. VietJet Air is one of the three carriers in the world, with American Airlines and Qantas, which have taken this initiative.
Noi Bai airport
Noi Bai airport is the headquarters of the VietJet Air, often referred to as hub. It is the second largest airport in Vietnam. It is visited by the passengers from Asia and the rest of the world. However, it has limited capacity, because of its limited size it can only serve 10 million passengers annually. Over the next years, it is to be replaced by the new, bigger and more modern airport. Noi Bai is located 45 kilometres from Hanoi. To get there, you can take a bus or use the transport company service. It takes about 30-45 minutes. At the airport, you can wait for your flight or transport, relaxing in the restaurant or visiting the shops.
Refreshments
Meal and drinks are included in the price of the SkyBoss class ticket. They are served during the flight. When you travel in different reservation classes, you can buy something to eat onboard. Onboard bar is available during the flight, you can buy there some snacks, something bigger or drinks.
Additional services
VietJet Air entertainment services are paid additionally and cannot be refunded. The same applies to meals and snacks, included in the price of the ticket only in the SkyBoss class. To use the additional services, you should carry boarding pass. VietJet Air airline has adapted its offer for people who may require special conditions while travelling. Flights make it possible to travel to wheelchair users, the blind and the hearing impaired, as well as provide comfortable journey for pregnant women and the seniors.

Feed Back
Check-In counter, Team at Check-In counter were rude and not understanding and made us to pay extra for luggage. In our reservation booking it was clearly written 2 kg for personal bag, 7 kgs for Hand Baggage and 30 kgs for Check-In Baggage. But they refused to consider 2 kgs personal bag and charged us and said unless we pay, we will not be given Boarding Pass and Check-In Baggage will remain on hold. I would request take it suitably with Viet Jet or revise your Reservation Ticket.

Trip to Vietnam
Generally all was fine. I have seen that a very young Pilot flew the plane. After starting he made a very quick change of the high level, which I and other passengers do not loke, as it feels not very safe. After landing, both Pilots came out of the cockpit and departing the plane, together with the passengers, which looks not very professional. At least the touch down was smooth. I am not sure if choosing Vietjet again. Thank you
