Luggage
Vueling baggage policy entitles passengers to carry one piece of hand luggage up to 10 kg, no larger than 55x40x20 cm, which will be put into the overhead locker, and a smaller bag measuring 35x20x20 cm at most, that must fit under the front seat. Purchases made at the airport can be carried in addition to those bags. Registered baggage can be checked in online to save up to 50%. When flying with Vueling, passengers can check in baggage which weighs: 15kg, 20kg, 25kg and 30kg. Excess baggage charge is EUR 12.
Booking classes
With Vueling, passengers can choose from four travel fares. Basic fare includes only a ticket, which is enough for light travellers, who like to fly cheap, while Optima gives a free seat selection and one checked bag. Families can enjoy priority boarding and exclusive check-in desk at the carrier’s main airports. TimeFlex is designed for business travellers who value flexibility, as it allows to change the date or time of the flight up to 2 hours before departure. It also helps save time thanks to fast-track through security control at selected airports.
Online check-in
Online check-in with Vueling is always free and can be done on any device between 7 days and 1 hour before the flight. To check-in online, the traveler needs to enter the booking code and email address or destination and the date of travel. Boarding pass needs to be printed off or downloaded onto a mobile device to be presented at the airport.

The carrier operates a sizeable fleet of 122 airplanes. It comprises Airbus A319-100, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321-200 and Airbus A321neo aircraft.

It is located 12 km from Barcelona city centre. Barcelona–El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport won Best Airport in Southern Europe award by Skytrax in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016. The airport features facilities, such as shops and duty free, 50 restaurants and cafeterias, as well as 4 VIP lounges. Free shuttle buses run between T1 and T2.

Vueling holidays is a service which makes it possible for Vueling passengers to book hotels or flights + hotels at an attractively low price. They can choose from 200,000 hotels. It guarantees that if the same flight + hotel package can be found elsewhere at a lower rate within 24 hours of booking or a hotel up to 48 hours before check-in, Vueling will refund the difference.

8 year old child sited alone - not OK
Hi, I would expect that a minor child is seated together with at least one parent, regardless of whether you pay the seat selection fee or not. I believe this should be changed! Thank you!

Not on Time
For a start , it was late, 1 and a half hours delay. Otherwise it was just the same as any other airline.

I received the worst possible treatment from airline staff at both check-in and the boarding gate. They exhibited racist prejudice toward me and my family, threatened to leave us behind unless we paid an inflated charge for our cabin bag, and refused to verify our receipts. Their behaviour was rude, arrogant, disrespectful, unprofessional, and racist.

Naj slabše možne izkušnje. Za prtljago sem plačal 315€ ki je vredna 50€ V Španiji so mi vkradli mobilni telefon iz prtljage na letališču. Zadnje moje potovanje in za moje prijatelje s Vuelingom. Dal bom na FB

Very late.
My flight from Porto to Barcelona was two hours late with no explanation or apology. Embarking and disembarking were both extremely slow. My flight from Barcelona to Edinburgh was on time but again embarking and disembarking were sloe. I will never fly Vueling again.

Efficiency
We missed our connecting flight over to Vueling. Though they couldn’t refund we did get a special rate. They were very kind. However - I did observe the customer next to us simply be told “no” and it was all very poor customer service.
