Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport is the busiest airport in Azerbaijan. A good geographical location is the reason for the rapid development of the airport. The freight terminal was completed in 2005, and the new passenger terminal was completed in 2013. Further modernization of the facility and creation of a new leading airport servicing intercontinental transfers between East and West are planned.
Million passengers use the airport per year, but the new terminal increases the service capacity to 3 million people.
The hotel base is located in Baku, among others Avand Hotel and Hotel Ramada Baku.

Express Minibuses not. 116 takes passengers directly from the center of Baku to the airport. Buses run every 30 minutes from the early morning hours to late night hours. The starting station is the S. Vurgun park on ul. May 28. Getting to the airport takes about 30-40 minutes. The ticket price is 30 gapiks.

The airport is operated by a taxi company.
The airport is located 20 km north-east of the capital of Azerbaijan.
Two new expressways lead to Baku: Airport Highway and Zigh-Airport Highway. Getting to the airport takes about 30-40 minutes.

Parking meters are located by the exit from the arrivals hall and on the 2nd floor of both terminals.
Shopping - there is a duty-free shop in the departure hall: DutyFree.az.
Car rental - VIP Aviation Sevices Company provides rental service. The staff speaks English. The customer service point is located in the arrivals hall on the 1st floor of the North and South Terminal.
Gastronomy - using the services of restaurants and cafes is possible both in arrival and departure hall.
Finances - a currency exchange office and ATM are located in the arrivals hall on the 1st floor. It is possible to use the ATM also in the departure hall in the duty-free shop.

Internet - there is a free WiFi network in the airport area: "Baku Airport Free WiFi".
