    Terribly let down. Check in refused disabled request.

    I've had open heart surgery and severe arthritis, yet was expected to stand for 45 minutes. No seat available at gate, all full.

    Confused

    I found it hard to navigate round the busy terminal. Staff were fab at giving directions but the signs were not helpful. I could not see my flight at all on the board as I was in a completely different area.

    Sabiha-Gökçen airport is located 35 kilometers south-east of Istanbul, and it is the second airport (together with Atatürk airport) servicing Istanbul. The airport was built due to the growing number of passengers traveling to and from the country, who could not be serviced by Atatürk airport. Sabiha-Gökçen airport operates both – international flights (terminal for 3 million passengers annually) and national flights (terminal for maximum 0.5 million of passengers). The airport was named in honor of the first Turkish pilot woman - Sabiha-Gökçen.

    The airport has a four-storey car park, with about 5000 parking spaces. You can pay here by cash or by card in the parking meter or at the counter.
