Salvador
Salvador, located in eastern Brazil on the Atlantic Ocean, is a city rich in history and culture. Known as São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos, it was the capital of the Portuguese colony until 1763. Today, it is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors with its Baroque monuments. The city is divided into two parts: the upper and lower sections, connected by the Lacerda Elevator and a funicular. The tropical climate makes it suitable for visits year-round, although the best time is from December to March, with temperatures around 25-30 °C.
