Eindhoven
Eindhoven, located in the southern part of the Netherlands in the province of North Brabant, along the Dommel River, is the country's fifth-largest city with a population of about 225,000 people. It is a key center for the electronics industry, home to the Philips corporation. The city also hosts DAF factories and the Eindhoven University of Technology. Highlights include the neo-Gothic St. Catherine's Church and the Evoluon Museum. The city is well-connected thanks to its airport and extensive railway network. Spring and summer are the ideal times to visit, when the temperature is pleasant.
