Rzeszow
Rzeszów, the capital of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, lies in south-eastern Poland. It is the country's fourteenth-largest city, with a population of 198,317. It is known for two large institutions of higher education: the University of Rzeszów and the Rzeszów University of Technology. The city has an international airport in Jasionka and the Aeropolis Subcarpathian Science and Technology Park. Rzeszów is a member of the Union of Polish Metropolises. It is best visited in summer, when temperatures are pleasant and ideal for sightseeing.
