Valencia Airport is the eighth busiest airport in Spain and the second largest in the region, after Alicante. It is located about 8 km from the city center and close to the A-3 highway which connects the region with Madrid. Currently, the airport has one terminal and one runway. In 2010, almost 5 million passengers used the services on this airport. There are 23 airlines working at the airport. There are many hotels near the airport.

Bus:
Getting to the airport by bus is possible from the Valencia Norte railway station. The bus that goes directly at the airport Aerobusy runs from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every 20 minutes. You can also use the yellow suburban buses (Metrobus) line number 150 leaving, inter alia from Avenida del Cid. The buses run between 5:25 a.m. and 11:55 p.m.
Train
The airport doesn't have any railway connection. We encourage the passengers arriving at Valencia Norte station (the main station in Valencia) to use the metro, whose station (Xativa) is located just next to the exit of the station. There is a newly opened metro line to the airport (No. 5 - green or No. 3 - red). You should get into the wagons running towards "Aeropuerto". The time of traveling from the opposite end of the route should not exceed 40 minutes. The exit from the final station "Aeropuerto" leads directly to the departures and arrivals hall. The metro line is the best way to quickly get to the airport.
There is only one city taxi corporation with fixed prices in Valencia. Taxis are white.

The airport is located approximately 10 km west of the city, near the Bonaire shopping center (road N220 connected to the motorway Madrid-Valencia A3 and the road N335). Access from the city is simple - in Valencia, you should go to Avenida del Cid and drive straight in the direction of Madrid all the time.
During peak hours, however, you can get stuck in a traffic jam.
