Baggage

SAS cabin baggage allowance is one carry-on (up to 8kg, height 55 cm, width 40 cm and depth 23 cm) and one smaller item (height 40 cm, width 30 cm and depth 15 cm). SAS Plus (long-haul) and SAS Business are entitled to two cabin bags up to 8kg. SAS Go customers can register one item of baggage up to 23 kg. SAS Go Light does not include registered baggage, but it can be purchased. SAS Plus passengers are entitled to two 23 kg bags, whereas SAS Business travelers can enjoy a generous baggage allowance of two 32 kg bags. Any checked bag may not measure more than 158 cm. No piece of baggage can weigh more than 32 kg, except for special baggage, such as diving equipment or large musical instruments. If a bag exceeds the allowance, a fee will be levied.

Service classes

SAS customers can choose from three travel classes: SAS Go, SAS Plus and SAS Business, which is available on long-haul routes. SAS Go (economy class) passengers can purchase light meals and beverages or pre-order a meal. Free meals are included only on flights from and to the US and Asia. Long-haul travelers can enjoy in-flight entertainment and have access to power outlets. Seat reservation and WiFi are available for a fee. In SAS Plus (premium economy class) the ticket includes complimentary refreshments, Fast Track, SAS Lounge access, priority boarding as well as free WiFi. On long-distance routes, customers can enjoy a wider seat and extra legroom. The first row has leg rests, the other rows have footrests. Besides, they can use the SAS entertainment system, power outlets and USB ports and select their preferred seat free of charge. SAS Business is offered only on flights to and from the US and Asia. Business-class travelers are provided the highest level of service, including a glass of champagne and a three-course meal, access to a selection of fine wines and non-alcoholic drinks, fruit and snacks. The cabin features seats convertible into flat beds, power sockets, and entertainment system delivered on 15.4" HD screens. In addition, they can use Fast Track, enjoy the SAS Lounge access, get on board first and reserve their seats.

Online check-in

Passengers can check-in online from 22 hours to 1 hour before flight departure. To check-in through the application, add your booking to receive a notification when it has opened. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Check-in can also be done on the website through "Check in" or "My booking". Just give your booking reference and last name.
